    What are County Championships?

    Each year, the Top 50 swimmers in the county for each age group and event are invited to participate in the County Championships! 

    After swim meets each week, you will receive an email sharing the Top 50-75 swimmers in each age group event. You can see them posted HERE as well! 

    The swimmers who qualify for County and commit to attend the championship meet will continue practicing June 29 - July 10.

    2026 County Championship Weekend Schedule

    The GCSL team warm up schedules will be released the week before County.

    These times may be adjusted by the GCSL during the season. In the event that this occurs, and email will be sent out and this page will be immediately updated.

    County Dates- July 10th, 11th and 12th at Georgia Tech McCauley Aquatic Center

    NOTE: TEAM WARM UP TIMES VARY - The warm up schedule is released the week before County.

    MEET SCHEDULE:

    Friday July 10th, 2025

    Session 1 ( Age 15 -18)

    • Warm-ups at 4pm
    • Start time : 5:30pm session concluded at approx. 8:20 PM

    Saturday July 11th, 2025

    Session 2 ( Age 9 & 10)

    • Warm-ups at 8 AM
    • Start Time: 9:15AM session concludes at approx. 12:30PM
    • This session will begin with an "honorary heat" swum by invited swimmers with disabilities.

    Session 3 (Ages 13-14)

    • Warm-ups at 1:30PM
    • Starting Time: 3:15PM session concludes at approx. 6:15PM

    Sunday July 12th, 2025

    Session 4 (Ages 8 & Under)

    • Warm-ups at 7:30AM
    • Start Time: 9:15AM session concludes at approx. 12:30pm

    Session 5 ( Ages 11-12)

    • Warm-ups: 1:30 PM
    • Start Time: 3:15pm session concludes at approx. 6:30PM

    A few other details:

    • The meet will be sanctioned and Safe Sport rules will apply as in years past.
    • Volunteer positions will be required.
